The Countdown Continues

Only four months to go until we head off on our adventure. We've pretty much decided on our itinerary although we've been advised to be flexible... India has a tendenacy to throw the best laid plans into confusion.

At this stage though, we're booked Sydney to Kula Lumpur where we have an overnight and a day to look around. Then it's on to Chennai where we have another overnight and a day... then on to Calcutta where we are booked into the famous Fairlawn Hotel. Next day we are off to Bagdogra and Darjeeling. The Shangri-La Hotel and the Himalayas await us... that is... if the weather is clear.

We've been reading Jamie Ashley's wonderful blog hornokplease.iblogs.com and Sikkim and Pelling look inviting for a few days so we'll play it by ear.
